Natalie Jo, 9lbs 6oz. I have not seen her yet. We left Saturday morning to go to the hospital in La. and sit and wait and wait and sit all day Saturday and part of the day Sunday. She just was not ready AT ALL. It was a long and hard process for "mom and dad" but they did it. She ended up having a C-section done (although she wanted so bad to avoid it) due to complications. So she labored for 2 1/2 days and finally she is here. I can't wait to see her! I am so happy for their new little family.
So, James and I have started a Bible Study together and I love it!!! It is challenging and motivating at the same time and a real eye opener on our marriage. It's funny also, we are challenged every day and the responses to the different situations are entertaining to say the least. I will keep updating our progress as time goes by.

New Baby!!!

I am so excited!!! It has not been easy at all. I expected everyone to fall into place when I left the home and step up and pull their own weight. That has not happened yet. So, my relaxation time, quiet time, or any time for that matter has been suspended until further notice...ha ha or something drastically changes. I love my job not so much the hours but the work seems to fit me well. It definitely keeps my day busy. Since going back to work though, I have lost touch with most of my friends and family one of my good friends has moved away and believe it or not "yes" life still is moving forward. Time seems to just fly by so quickly. Speaking of time flying by, my oldest kiddo is turning 14 next week! I cannot believe it. He wants his dad to take him and some guys camping for his birthday. I am sure there will be no objections from "dad" on that. He's a great kid!

We are headed back to LA this weekend for the birth of our new niece. I am sooooo excited! She is due Saturday weather she likes it or not. If she doesn't come into this world on her own "mom" will have to be induced. Please pray for her because she is not to excited about that. This baby will be such a blessing to the family for so many reasons. God has such a magnificent way of revealing His will in our lives through others, even newborn babies. It is such a exciting event that is about to happen. Bridges will be built to begin begin new relationships and to bring together old ones.

Your prayers are requested for our family. Several months ago, God told me something that I wasn't ready to hear or wanting to hear but I knew I needed to hear. After youth camp I realized, not in the full capacity yet, that God wanted me to surrender to Him and allow Him to lead me in a direction that I was not yet comfortable with. Truthfully, not at all comfortable with. He told me one simple thing "GO". My first response..."Go where?" my second response...."Go when?" God is still showing me and I am still listening. Probably not like I should lately because I have allowed some things to distract me, mainly myself, but it sounds better to me when I say some things,,,ha ha. Anyway, God is beginning to open doors...it's sooo exciting. What's next for us God? Will it be big or will it be small? Will I realize it at first or will it all of a sudden hit me one day that it already happened(I hope not)? I think everyone has been here. I know we have. It just seems like the first time every time for me.

I believe my 5 minute window is closing because the family is starting to circle like sharks around the computer. Maybe a second laptop would be a good idea. One for me and one for everyone else...lol. Until next time,(who knows when that will be) have a great week.

It's been 31 years!

My birthday is almost here again. I cannot believe I am 31 years old already. It sometimes seems like yesterday that I was playing hide and go seek with the neighborhood kids and my older brother. I was thinking yesterday of my 12th birthday party and my mom had planned a scavenger hunt for my brother and me for our birthdays. There were so many kids roaming our poor little neighborhood and knocking on doors I do not know how we ever completed it.She made me and Dillon(brother) these B-day cakes that looked like hamburgers with all the fixings. It was so much fun! I do not know why as adults we quit having fun on our birthdays. Why can't we go on scavenger hunts and have crazy cakes with all our friends? Just because I am getting older should not mean that I have to quit having fun on my birthday. So, I have decided I WILL do something crazy and fun for my birthday. I may even make myself a crazy cake (or buy). Why should I dread another older? This is my day to celebrate the life that my God has created. So I will leave you with these 2 words PARTY ON!!!!

Tennessee Bound!!

I only have a second to type a few things. Sorry it has been so long. Man! This summer has been so CRAZY!!!! I am leaving with my church on a youth/mission/camp trip to Tennessee. I am sooooo excited. It has been so rough preparing the family for this though. I had to beg, borrow and buy new luggage so that everyone in the house had something to put their clothes in. I guess I could have used Wal-Mart bags...lol. Anyway were off tomorrow and I wanted to ask for your prayers for the drive, the patience, but most importantly, the ministry. We are going to minister to others there in a few different ministries but my prayers are for our group specifically to get ministered to. Students and adults both. I am ready! You can check us out this week and what is going on at fuge.com and find M-Fuge and Tennessee. I hope that works anyway..lol. No more pencils, no more books, no more teachers dirty looks. Well, I am sure my kiddos teachers ,especially Joey's is ready for summer..lol. The question is "am I ready for summer?" NO! Last year I had already made my trip to the local supply store and bought a huge poster with the days of the week already labeled. Then I sat down and portioned out the chores to each individual(except for dad) and reading times and so forth and so on. This year I don't know what has happened. I am excited, but not prepared. How can I keep the kids from plotting a plan of action of how they can take over the neighborhood one home at a time? Their strength is in numbers. Their alias. The neighbors kiddos. I can already tell their planning their invasion. At exactly 3:45 everyday for the past 2 months there is a simple 2 quick knocks at the front door and before I can get there all 3 are at the door with one swift move open, out, close. Then they disappear mysteriously into the backyards of our homes. When questioned later in the evenings their only reply is "we were jumping on the trampoline". Ha, likely story! I see them running through the alley ways (likely escape routes if in danger) and gathering all kinds of whatchamacallits (?) . I haven't quite figured out yet what their next plan of action is though. My oldest, although he acts like he could care less, has already asked if he could skip the last 2 days of school. Probably needing the extra time to finish up some final strategic planning. I complied with the hopes of being able to maybe catch a lead of the inevitable invasion. I am almost certain I have spotted them trafficking food from the kitchen to the possible "hideout". I may not be able to post about this "suspected invasion" again so heed my warnings, PARENTS STAND STRONG! YOU BROUGHT THEM INTO THIS WORLD AND YOU CAN TAKE THEM OUT! WHEN QUESTIONED BY THEM ONLY ANSWER
"BECAUSE I SAID SO!" and last but not least their weakness BATH-TIME
(USE EXTRA SOAP)

lol!
I am really looking forward to our summer and no I do not have my plans nailed down. Maybe my "free spirit" is taking over. Sometimes it's hard to keep it under control (lol). Who suffers from it? Well, this summer, my kids. They'll survive. I have for the past 30 years. ha!ha !
(almost 31 ugh!) We are joining the YMCA for sure, Terrific Tuesdays with the church, Book Club, Youth Camp (Yay!) I can manage the in between.

Before you read this please don't misunderstand what I am writing. This was very unexpected and not at all planned. Of course when we allow God full hold on the reigns of our lives you never know what will happen. Well to begin with if you do not know already I am a Sunday School teacher at my church for the 9-10 grade girls. I love it! These girls hold a very special place in my life and although it can be trying sometimes I know God has me exactly where He needs me to be. So, Sunday morning was "graduation" for all the SS classes and I had a couple of new students come into the classroom. It was so exciting to have to pull chairs into the room because we did not have enough seats. Anyway, we took time to talk about the past week and upcoming stuff for their summer breaks before we started our lesson. Our lesson this past week was from the parable about the "Unmerciful servant"Matthew 21-35. As we discussed the parable I gave them a "what if" to think about and I remembered it from a witnessing/discipleship study called "Way of the Master". It was simply this: If you had a child or someone close to you and their life had been taken by a reckless driver. They did not stop they just kept going and it took some time to find them. During this time they had started to feel remorse/guilt. When finally arrested and brought to trial that person stood before a judge and apologized for killing your child and explained to the judge how bad they felt and remorseful and guilty. Then the judge looked at that person and said "WELL SINCE YOU ARE SO SORRY FOR DOING THIS CRIME AND YOU SEEM LIKE YOU REALLY HAVE BEEN CHANGED THEN I WILL LET YOU GO. " the girls in the class were horrified and of course noticed immediately that this would not have been a just ruling for the judge. The bad person was shown mercy and the family nothing. I explained to the girls how this applies to our lives. Look at all we do and expect mercy to be showered on us daily. I asked them "what if God was a just God and gave us exactly what we deserve which does not include mercy?" The whole room got quite. I then explained to them how our salvation is His mercy. I explained to them that because you say you opened the door to your heart when He knocked and said the prayer of salvation and maybe even learned the Roman Road all of that does not make you a Christian. As I looked at each one of them in the face I cannot explain the almost confused looks I received back. So, I continued. I explained that those things are not wrong they are the beginning of what should be a new life . I explained that if they have opened the door, said the prayer, memorized the Roman Road and have never turned away from the things of this world and are still continuing to live like they were before their"experience with Christ" might be all that it was. I told them that there is a break in the chain and it is not with just them but within the body. We are just as responsible to make sure that the decisions, the walks, the growth is beginning from that day forth. If you read the parable listed above you will see how Jesus tries to teach us about forgiveness, love, mercy. I feel that with these students, for them to truly learn what true forgiveness is and how to receive His mercy then they have to understand where they stand at in their relationship with Him. Praise God for His mercy in my life and for saving a wretch like me. I once was lost but now I am found. I was blind but now I see. Thank you God for using me.

What a week!

I have finally gotten the kids to bed and now I have some quiet time to myself. (except for the texting. do those kids ever go to bed?lol) I am a little stressed about the Birthday party this weekend I guess because of the amount of kids that are supposed to be there. I do not do well with Birthday parties. I spend way to much money, have to clean house the entire week of and cannot relax long enough to watch my kids enjoy it. What's wrong with me? The in-laws are coming too and for anyone that really knows me out there you know I have a complete melt down panic attack. It's not just the ma-in-law it's the whole side of the family. It will be their first time here at the house so they will want to see every room. Which would be fine if we were through remodeling the 4th bedroom and I did not have a n extra bed room suit sitting in the middle of my living room. I am sure it will all come together and the stress will be totally worth the whole 2 HOURS they will be here. lol. One day I will learn that it's okay for my home to look lived in and that I actually do raise 3 children here, sometimes 4. So, I am having a jewelry party tomorrow night at my mom's house and that should be really fun just hanging with the girls and hopefully some stress will be relieved through the fun and possibly buying some jewelry. ha ha. My mom is back from her week stay in Florida and glad to be home. She did comment however on the beauty of their beaches and how clean the little towns were. How could she even compare their beaches to ours? The truth of the matter is, she couldn't. There is no comparison in their clear blue water and ours that has , well what does ours have in it? Anyway, I am glad she is home I missed her. She also got her test results back form her mammogram and the lump was benign. Praise God! She still has some concerns about it and is watching it. Well that is about all can think of to say for tonight so goodnight and God bless you.

Well, I just had a really interesting weekend with our church family, mainly our youth group in a Discipleship weekend. It was great. We all had a lot of fun, a lot of sleep deprivation and most importantly the Word of God taught all weekend. I did not expect to personally receive much I guess because it was youth oriented. But, I wrestled with some things this weekend that I have wrestled with for quite some time. I am learning slowly but surely how to release all things to Christ and not just the ones that I don't feel like I need to control. I struggle with wanted to be accepted in the circles that I move in and with the things of the past. I have made some comments about people I care a lot about to others to try and help justify my insecurities and hurt feelings that have haunted me since the day I said it. I knew better when I did it and I know better now. I used to read Proverbs every day and try to somehow apply them to my life and I have recalled this verse and thought it very fitting to how I feel. Proverbs 10:19
When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.

It was not easy realizing that this should be me but is and was not me abiding in His Word. It is amazing to me when you realize the strong holds in your life had such a control over who you are as a person in different situations and you don't even realize it until sometimes it is too late.

You may be wondering why I chose the picture that is attached. I'm sure you have noticed the picture is a big wave with a surfer riding through it. If you know anything about surfing then you know in a competition the point is to ride the wave all the way out and still be on the board. Now if you have ever watched the competitions more than a few do not make it out still standing. I look at this picture and relate the wave to my situation with my personal battles and the different things I deal with . I am riding through this hoping to come out still standing but sometimes the wave crashes in and holds me under for awhile. I am learning like I said slowly how to stay up with the wave (my battles) and even learning how to eliminate the depth of the things that I am dealing with. Not on my own at all only through His guidance and Word for me. I praise God for revealing who He is to me without the oppression of the rules and regulations that "man" has always taught me had to be. Praise God!

The Stark Naked Truth: Okay here I go.

The Stark Naked Truth: Okay here I go.

I changed my font at pYzam.com

table, tr, td, li, p, div {font-family:Century; I have been invited to try this out by my B.F. Heather. She seems to blog like a mad woman(lol). I guess I will begin with who I am. I am a 30 year old wife and a mother of 3 beautiful children, I stay at home for now, but I will soon be a student again. I am most importantly a WOG (woman of God). I would not trade any of this for the world.I have been back to hometown now for 3 years and I am finally settling back in. It was not as easy as I had anticipated. My goals? To start would be to have a constant mind set that I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God;I trust in God's unfailing love for ever and ever. Psalms 52:8 . Next would have to include raising my children in a home that would always make them feel secure and loved and making sure they have the best care needed.I know that sounds like a typical "mom saying" but this world is constantly telling them the exact opposite of everything we try to teach them in the home. Finally, well it's hard to summarize but for your sakes I will (lol). I want to succeed at everything and accomplish everything with flying colors. I know that sounds like a "wonder woman" theory but that is how I am . It is not healthy I know and I need to learn to give myself a break but in a weird way that is how I feel I should be to accomplish all of my goals. I know what you are thinking I will have a lifetime of disappointment and I need to my "Big Girl panties" on and deal with it and get over it. I hear you. I just need to learn to put advice into action sometimes. Anyway, so you have a smidgen of who I am and about my life. This whole "Blog" thing could turn out to be interesting. We'll see. Goodbye for now.
